All the boys and girls in St. Mary's celebrated " Toy Show Charity Day", by wearing their pyjamas to school today 🎉!! All the children made a donation to our local branch of Vincent De Paul in Nenagh. 💙❤️ Harry Martin, the chairperson of the Nenagh Branch of St. Vincent De Paul, was delighted to accept the sum of €1135 from the pupils of our school this afternoon. Well done to everyone🥰🫶🤩

Ms Spaight’s fourth class had a great day today for “Toy Show Day”. We showed off our Christmas decorations using recyclable materials; made our own baubles; went to the library for story time and had pizza while watching an old episode of “The Toy Show”. A great day was had by all.

Wow! How enjoyable was our chess class this week. A massive thanks to Mr Shanahan for coordinating the sessions and to our Chess Master Colm for helping us tell our rooks from our bishops. The girls are on fire with their chess moves ♟️ 🔥 ♟️
5th class are loving exploring the UN Sustainable Development Goals through coding . Thanks to Pamela O’Brien from TUS Department of IT for coming in to teach us so much computer coding last week 🖥️🎮😊 The girls are so interested in this project and look forward to future sessions with Pam where they will continue to learn coding commands and develop a computer game of their own!!! #sustainablegoalsofdevelopment

Our boardgames club is back! We are running on Wednesdays from 2.45pm to 3.45pm. The girls loved being back inside playing games such as chess, twister, quorridor and many many more!

What a fantastic day we had in Thurles today, where our u11 girls reached the final of the Cumann na mBunscoil blitz. They girls were amazing, winning two matches and drawing one, to reach the final. We are super proud of you all. Well done 🎉⚽️⚽️⚽️

The pupils in St. Mary's Primary School celebrated " Children's Day of Mission Prayer" today.🌍🙏❤️ The boys and girls came together to pray for children throughout the world. 👫The pupils in third class; Ava, Alexandra and Grace led us in our prayers today, remembering all the children throughout the world.😊💙❤️🙏 Our sixth class pupils led a prayer service in the church for all the sacrament classes in the town this morning also.
