Congratulations to the 6th Class pupils of St Mary’s on making their Confirmation today. It was a very meaningful and reverent ceremony, reflecting the preparation and care shown by the children.
Sincere thanks to the families, parents, teachers, the parish team, Bishop Fintan, and the school team for all their work in making the day so special. Thanks also to our fantastic school choir for their lovely singing, which added beautifully to the ceremony.
Well done to all involved. We hope the confirmation candidates enjoy celebrating this special occasion with family and friends.

5th Class have been learning all about Wood Technology at Nenagh College over the last 3 weeks. They have learned all about the tools used in woodwork such as mallets, vice, dowels, pillar drills and sanding machines. They made candle holders, letter stands and hanging key holders and had such a great hands on experience. Thanks to Nenagh College teachers Mr Brian Quinn and Mr Mikey Heffernan for inspiring and guiding our students. They loved their Wood Tech experience😁 ... See MoreSee Less

A fantastic day at the FAI Primary Schools Tipperary Cup as our Red team secured an incredible 4-0 victory over John the Baptist to win the county final. The girls showed huge determination and teamwork throughout. A special mention to Ella in goals, stepping into the position for the first time and making some brilliant saves, backed up by a solid defence. There were great performances all around, with Leahnora and Kate each netting hat-tricks.
Our Navy team also put in a strong effort, finishing with 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses. With several players only taking up football this year and playing their first matches, they should be very proud of their progress.
The Red team now look ahead to the Munster finals in Cahir Park AFC on May 6th, with a chance to reach the national final in the Aviva Stadium.
Thank you @faireland @faischools for a great day!
